Why would people still play the first one when the new one is out though?
Not everyone is interested in or wants to spend the money on the new one.
After watching the various gameplay videos online I cant see that it's worth the money.

will there be a demo of the second one for people.
I was also thinking nows a good time to buy someones old l4d account but I dont suppose many people had the game held seperately

Should be one up before the launch. Two weeks after the pre-order people were allowed access to the demo if I remember correctly.

From just watching, I can see where you are coming from, but when playing the game it feels much more polished. L4d feels like a beta for me compared to this demo. Obviously people have different tastes and I respect that, just thought I'd inform you because I felt like you a few hours ago.

L4D2 is more fun. I just went back to playing some L4D1 after playing L4D2 and the first one just feels kinda dull now.

I've been thinking that I probably could have gotten even more life out of L4D if I had tried a few more custom campaigns. Just tried a bit of Suicide Blitz earlier and was highly impressed. Anyone up for some expert customs this weekend?

buy it retail mate, as it's a valve game it's the same as buying on steam, and it's usually a lot cheaper.

A friend of mine uses g2play.net for some games, not used them personally but he has not had any problems and they are pretty cheap at £13:40, Worth a look.
