I pronounce it Gill-ee, as opposed to Jill-ee.

The latter just sounds like a girl's name.

Thanks Mark, and everyone else that has said kind things. It's a bit of a shame to step down but nothing lasts forever.

I will still be around from time to time of course. When a place like this has been an internet home for a decade (scary as hell) you don't stop visiting altogether
