I'm trying to put together an 80's album.

I was born the wrong end of the eighties so all I have to go on was from what I remember my sisters listening to and from what I remember hearing on vice city :)

so far I'm set on

Don't you want me - The Human League
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
Don't you (forget about me) - simple minds
Head over heals - Tears for fears
cars - garry numan
Take on me - aha

got a few others but want to see what you guys think

new order - blue monday

dont think there will ever come a time when ill be bored of it. 80s was an amazing decade for music

could write a forum long list of 80s genre defining house and techno records but dont think thats what your looking for judging by the list of cheese (which i love too...)

Billy Idol - White Wedding
Chris Isaak - Wicked Game
Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle and/or Paradise City
Fat Larry's Band - Act Like You Know and/or Zoom
Toto - Africa (apparantly Hold The Line was released just before the 80s)
Flock Of Seagulls - I Ran [So Far Away]
The Vapors - Turning Japanese
Ultravox - Vienna (kept off the number 1 slot by Joe Dolce of all people)

There may be a few more if you want defining songs such as Wham - Club Tropicana but they're not necessarily what I'd call good.

//edit and how could I forget Wang Chung - Everybody Have Fun Tonight.
