I completed this last night and it said on the start up screen i was 50% through the game, as i beat poison ivy i thought hmm yeah that will be about the halfway mark of this enjoyable game, imagine my surprise to travel a slight distance to be faced by the extremely linear and easy final fight with the joker and then greeted by the closing credits.

Way too short i was only just getting into it!

Well I can't form an opinion as I haven't yet played the game, but thanks a bunch for the spoilers .

And you didn't get the idea by the thread title that this was about the length of the game, and therefore may contain ending / plot info?

I havent finished it yet but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out that the final fight would be the joker. I think some people just like to moan.

You enter a thread complaining about how short a game is and don't expect discussion of the ending?

Are you a bit special?

i havent been here very long and have only made a few threads but it seems a lot of people get rubbed up the wrong way on here? How did you expect a thread about a game being short not to have any spoilers in? Come on guys give me a break here. And the games been out ages its hardly a new release.

It's not too short, plenty to do after the story is finished, lots of things worth collecting and the combat and predator challenges are excellent.

I personally didn't enter the thread. I hovered my mosue over the thread preview hoping to see something that would affect my decision to play the game or not without any spoilers.

Normally people put warnings in the title if they're going to be telling you who you'll be fighting and when.

Someone dial the waaaambulance for the ocuk cry babies have arrived. Seriously you cant expect everyone to type spoilers in a thread title for a game that has been out for a fair while .....

So if you're going to the cinema tomorrow to see a film that's been out for three months, someone is quite justified in telling you what happens half way through and at the end, cause it's 'been out for a fair while'? You honestly see that side of the argument?

Quality > quantity

Theres far too many games to play these day. A short well made game like Batman is more than welcome. You can add a good few more hours by doing all the riddles and challenges btw.

+1

Well put.

I don't think they're justified, but then its your own fault for talking to them. When I go to see a film I avoid anything that may spoil it, if I didn't want to know anything about a game I wouldn't enter or even preview a thread that talked about the length of the game.

Also, my preview contains 0 spoilers. Unless you count the fight against Poison Ivy which was heavily advertised. Even by that point i'd have stopped reading.

If you think that is short, try playing Wanted: The Weapons Of Fate.

True. I was a bit disappointed by the length. But the quality of the game is outstanding! And completing all the riddles and challenge modes adds a LOT to the game!

Man, I was just watching the Sixth Sense last night and was so dissapointed when I realised Bruce Willis was actually a ghost and that the film was so short!!

....WHAT?

For what it's worth to the OP, I thought it was average length, took a fair few hours to complete if you play it reasonably to the full. I just played for story and collected some stuff along the way and it must have been at least ~8hours for me.

Was just about right I thought...

Nope, I'm pretty sure cinemas don't show movies up to and over 3 months after their release.

And again if i was stupid enough to walk into a room with people talking about the length of the movie I wouldn't blame them for talking about it id blame myself for walking in to said discussion.

dont worry kiddo the waaaambulance will be here soon.
