Lyon, the usual French champions in the French league which is a 2 horse race at best. 4-1 to the Arse as well, 10 points now and if Liege drew then we'll be going through. Very good performance and so good to watch. 10 games at the Emirates played, and 10 wins as well. Perfect!

I think that means Liverpool's owners will be selling up quick. Huge loss of revenue not qualifying for the next round.

1-1 finished for Rangers. Had to laugh at Walter Smith's reaction to his own coaching staff at the end of the game, wouldn't like to be in that dressing room.

Whats luck got to do with it. Even with Gerrard and Torres they simply haven't been good enough.

Liverpool fans can bleat on about not enough money, the board and any other excuse but ultimately it's Benitez who bought a crocked Italian Midfielder who is yet to find his best position and another £11m on a full back when other areas of the pitch were a pressing concern.

Chances in the first half chances cost us. We could have been 4 up before Babel had scored and typically Lyon take their 2nd chance all game right at the end.
