Ive just been banned from live!!

Hiya all.

Please help me out here. Ive just tried to sign into xbox live and my console has been banned for violating terms and conditions of my agreement! What I want to know is how?? My 360 is original in everyway! What can I do to get un-banned????

microsoft wont give out the details

same thing happened to myself went into a famous game shop and bought
a second - hand machine got home and it was banned

phoned them and asked why (sayed they will not tell me )
asked me to return console to shop which i did and got another one

Seems your 360 might not be as original as you thought. Or you're lying. One way or the other, it's new console time.

So far as I know that's just gamertags, and it would have taken some going too.

i think for bad gamertags you get to change it for free
for bad player reviews i think you get code of conduct for 3 or 5 days

Post a thread over at Xbox forums under the "Account Suspensions and Player Feedback" section as they also deal with banned accounts/consoles and I am sure someone can help you

My gamertag is Porchiusmonkius. Ive been a gold member for over 2 years now. My console is ORIGINAL in everyway and ive owned it from new. Memphis thanks for your absolutley stupid remark about me possibly lying!! Whats the point of posting on here if ive been in the wrong!

See this sort of thing scares the pants off me. Not that I have anything to hide, but the fact that you can't get any justice (I believe) if you are mistakenly banned is kinda wrong.

Same thing recently happened to a friend of mine. He phoned them up and they sorted it out.

It sucks big time. Its so unfair man. I know there are people out there with hacked modded flashed consoles whatever you want to call them but the honest hardworking folks who shell out hard cash for these machines allways seem to suffer. Its wrong. If I dont get any sense outta microsoft im deserting to the PS3!!

This happened a while back, a lot of people with modded consoles got banned, but so did people without them.

Still, it could be an entirely different reason as to why you got banned.

they cant just banned people for the sake of it
