I love Kerzhakov!!

My team can beat man u thrash villa and then lose to ipswich and wolves. Very annoying ..

Got beat by spurs in the last minute too. Also sunderland beat me in the last minute with a 5-4 thriller.

Getting a bit annoyed now. Seems to have gone very inconsistent. :confused:


So I beat Chelsea in fifth round of FA Cup, then I'm playing Cardiff in the sixth round a few days later and what happens.... 4-4!


I've created another save so I'm gonna see how I do this time.

3-2 come back win against Chelsea should mean a 12-0 hammering of Cardiff. Silly game.
 
Great, Keith Lamb took over as chairman as Gibson stood down, he's intervened twice and accepted bids for Wheater and Zaki, my best players :(
 
Well I have parted company with Darlington after another 5 - 1 pounding at home. (At least one of my muppets managed to score this time). Gave the Ultimatum to the Board about the training facilities, was told I should be spending more time on the pitch (!) than creeping round the directors and got the sack!

Anyhow after running the clock for about two months, I'm now the proud holder of a Blue Square Premier managerial position...er York City. Will see how I get on with this lot!
 
Hat-trick from Rooney in a 4-0 league win against Chelsea, mostly because they play too narrow so Ribéry and Valencia annihilated them on the wings :cool:

Decided to start again. Nothing wrong with the game I was playing but I just wanted to start using my tactics and new found ability from the off.

Man Utd again and got Pato, again. Iirc I am 5 games inot the season proper, well I just had my first CL group game which I won. I also got Jovetic (sp?) from Fiorentina and a young lad from West Ham I cant remember his first name but his surname is Fry. Hes 20, I think and a left back. My missus knows his mum and they was chatting on face book. He just signed a fulltime contract with the hammers and has been tagged as the next Beckham...

Matthew Fry, I think I have remembered his name. Anyway hes, according to the coaches, not quality for the Utd squad but ill give him a go. I have linked him up with Evra. I gave him a few games as a sub once I had the game in the bag and he produced a few good performances. Might be one to look out for for a Championship side.

Nice to see someone who is not man u! i Use to love playing stoke back in the day when we were a league 1 team. Quite different times now but i will still always pick stoke. Had a cracking game as Hull in the first FM when they were league 2 got them in the uefa cup after finishing 5th in the EPL
 
I can see your point about people playing as Man Utd. However they are my team and I love taking them to glory. I do have a game going as Derby County as thats where I am living also a game as BSN side, Alfreton, as they are only up the road from me. That game is hard..
 
Utd are my team so I have to manage them first! I always have a go with other clubs after I'm done with a couple Utd games though.

Yep as I posted a couple of pages back, the fun in these games for me is seeing how far you can take a small team. I've always had success with Darlington (or Lincoln) in the past. With the @1998 Fifa Soccer Manager think I even got Darlington to the Premier League but that was after several years and the game spamming fictional players by then. Guess we just have to accept FM2010 is more true to life in that sort of respect.
 
I always start off as Fulham as I support them, and then generally go overseas. I spent most of FM09 playing as low foreign teams, mostly Rimini (went till 2020s), which I enjoy. I just prefer actually winning stuff with my team :p

I always like to play one of the newly promoted Premier League clubs. Last season it was Hull, this season it is Watford.

I always start as Manchester United, will then move on to Sheffield Wednesday when I get bored.

Played 28 league games with United, won them all :)
 
Bromley FC BSS, going greatish, 10th, played about 20 games, 2points of playoff's, very tight league.

42yo paul jones in goal, he's ace. got in so many players and cant shift the duffers, people wont even take them for free, £800 over wage limit, completely cripling the club lol, got a hole load out of contract in july, cant wait for em to go.

im hitting europe when i get rid of all the duffers and wage bill goes down.

Not sure where i'll end up, on current form maybe playoffs, but i feel at least another year in BSS.

New owner came in, gave me nothing.
 
Damn, had it in my basket at the supermarket for just under £28.

Saw sense in the end as I just can't afford it at the moment for various reasons. :( Temptation almost got the better of me.

It'll be mine at the end of the month though! :)

Go to your manager name, Search > Shortlist then on the right click the Shortlists button and select Import Shortlist. :)
