I think he'll stick just under the takeover amount at the moment, at least for a year or 2 till the economy is looking a bit better.
You mean, an incredibly smart business man keeps buying shares up to the auto takeover point, but he'll wait two years till the club's value will drastically decrease, their stadium debt is far smaller and it will cost him 2-3 times the amount to take over the club.
Yeah, thats how most businessmen get to be billionaires, wait till everything they buy is way more expensive and strong, then buy.
I also find it funny that the automatic assumption is one billionaire can't be better than another one, because every billionaire is pure evil and can only ruin every business they get into.
How about, before we all jump all over our new overlord before he's uttered a single word on the subject, we don't decide he's evil, we don't assume he's out to kill the club just because he's american, we don't automatically join forces to support the manager and hurl insults at the guy who will likely own the club in the future.
Maybe support him, untill and IF he does something bad for the club?
We could also not all get lost in over expectations and not actually get angry because a billionaire won't just spend hundreds of millions making us win everything like certain other clubs fans do. If he spends, he spends, if he doesn't, he doesn't, such is life.
