I'm thinking of getting SF4 for the pc, is it much better than the PS3?

The only thing I don't like about being on the PC is that people could be using macro's :(

I got rid of my ps3 version and play it on the pc now - prefer it on pc compared to ps3 - i just hope it doesnt SSFIV doesnt take ages to come to the pc.
 
The game modes should have been in there from the start, along with hitboxes in training etc that were in HDR.

You can google yourself for SSFIV PC info, it's been confirmed in numerous interviews with capcom staff.

im on ps3 and pc (im better on ps3 due to the better controller)
until i get a stick my main is currently zangief
is he a good match vs balrog?
 
Zangief has a huge advantage over Balrog, even more-so online!

I can only imagine how furiously you're spinning that stick during my combo's and whenever you jump :p

A few tips:

1- Try to bait your opponent into eating an ultra rather than mashing it out and wasting it.

2- If I have no EX meter and am not in a great jump in position use your lariat more.

3- Learn giefs BnB combo rather than always doing a jump in 360, I think his is a jump attack followed by clp clp clk green hands, or something similar.

4- Normals are your friend, find out which of giefs pokes (e.g. super kick) are good and abuse them vs all non-shoto characters!

Unfortunately laggy games restrict my online play hugely (you mashing spd through my ex RU, clp clk headbutt Ultra link removes a lariat punisher for example) so unfortunately I can't show you a true rog v gief match :(
 
remember im on a 360 pad here ;)

will probably switch back to sagat when i get a stick but might continue with gief as an alt

what was most annoying when i played that other balrog was he was a lot more defensive than you and that light jab is so annoying when trying to get close and grab :(
 
Cav, those Ryu combo's in that video look awesome, wish I could pull off some of them.

The new SUPER modes look good.

Kreeeee, when are we having an online session? Last time was fun. I see you playing HDR a lot these days, boring! :D
 
It was a laggy mess last time!

HDR just works online though. I'm really not interested in trying to play SFIV properly online as it just messes up my offline game, sorry. If people need help I'm happy to spam rog's 1 reliable online combo and give advice though.
