Does anyone use one of these cases? I'm thinking of getting one in the next few weeks and wondered what peoples experiences where like with it.

About the most balanced Lian Li design and one of the rare spacious high end cases with good silencing potential.

Here's one review of it and thread about door lacking A70F.
Compared to original A71 it lacks airflow refocusing push-pull fan configuration around main HDD cage but considering very similar B70 can match Raven RV02 with direct intakes that isn't serious disadvantage and in case of graphics card cooler leaking heat to case replacing tool-less card holder with this would help to get that heat out of the case for keeping parts cooler.

Thanks for that. I might purchase another fan to sit on the hard drive chassis where it use to be on the previous design. Wonder if the B70 can fit a ati 5870 card.

Thanks for that zia, was it easy to fit that third fan to the front of the case? Also I see you fitted an alternate fan to the rear of it, what's the quality like of the fans that come with it?
Cheers for the pics.

Yes it really easy just get your self a kama bay fan combo just screws into 5 inch bays, yeah the stock one run 1500 rpm altho nice but i much prefer the noctua due to silence, with zalman controller i can switch fans off and on and adjust them to suite my needs,
The case has no vibration,no resonace, due to me soundproofing it,only thing i hear is hd when they are seeking and gpu which is loudest component in my build

Hi zia sorry another question for you what did you use to soundproof the case. I'm trying to achieve a really quiet case as well so any tips would be great. Cheers

First mass damping (bitumen/some dense vinyl mat) for increasing vibration resistance and acoustic opacity of panels (same effect as multilayer panels in Antec P-serie) and way thicker than few mm absorption foams only after that.
There are some ready combination mats available or then you can use common materials.

To be honest i've noticed 0 temp difference with soundproofing on.with 3 fans blowing air in and 2 exhausting the case has some positive pressure, which keep the dust from accumilating in the case

And there really even shouldn't be real difference because case simply isn't any heatsink for components but heat is carried away by air flowing through the case.
(but in cases with heat traps/areas without airflow those would get warmer)

I had one, really nice case.... Just was too big for what I wanted.
With 2 watercooling loops (one of which was a pain to bleed, and then leaked) it was very heavy and problematic and I ended up going mATX for a complete contrast.

A nice case if you have the room for it, I'd prefer the B10 now though, same exterior style but more practical for myself :)

Great I think I will go ahead and try to soundproof it as it won't effect the temp. Still wanting to get the larger case though as Its got to last me a fair few years.
