just finished single player in 5 hours 15 min on difficulty regular i think pretty good single player

Mine installed quickly without hassle from CD via steam.

This was at lunchtime though, most people will only just be opening it from work/school and installing it

steam cant be that bad, according to some there are only 17,000 playing which is rubbish for launch day

but then most of america just work up so................

right i decided to get it(hope i dont regret it) i'm pre downloading straight from steam.

I chose to dl the multiplayer first, do i need to dl the single player after or can i just have the mp loaded for it to work.

From what I've read 4 bright green bars mean 0-100ms, 4 dark green bars mean 100-150, so who knows what 1 orange bar is meant to represent. 300ms or greater possibly.

And ofcourse the $harkZ comment in game I'm guessing sums up the experience of that particular game.

How is 100ms considered a good ping (enough for full 4 green bars) exactly?
Surely it should be 0-50ms Green, 60-100ms orange, above 100ms red

How on earth am I supposed to install this? It's spent 25 minutes on "Preparing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 files for install..." !!!

Although, the Single Player and Multiplayer are listed as 2 seperate "games".

Still early morning in some parts of America and only mid morning in others.

I think with 9000 people being added in 2 hrs steam may be struggling with connections, imagine if all its own sales were going live now too!

This is a bit of a joke now, game is installed but steam servers are too busy for me to launch....... in single player
