Well I've just finished playing mp from 2hrs with my mates from work and we found it great fun. It automatically kept us on the same side (as a party group) switched 'hosts' with little delay when the original host exited game in error and the new maps seemed very good.

First day impressions are very positive. May well keep my interest for longer than the last one did - at least until bad company 2 comes out next year.

Can't be buying this tbh, just can't. Got FM10.
 
just been playing multi, FFA max of 8 people? i got v.bored, running around an empty map, will give some of the other game modes ago, but FFA is a waste of time with the 2 maps ive played.
 
Free for all is a waste of time regardless. :p

I've been playing TDM and have found it to be absolutely fantastic. I was on the frontlines, boycotting this game when I first heard the news, but after the novelty wore off, I decided to buy it and am damn glad I did! Multiplayer is a blast, a game is found within a second of clicking 'Find game' nine times out of ten. I've had very few problems with hosts leaving or connections not working, I've not even had one game where my ping was anything less than three bars of green.

And of course, the single player was absolutely sublime. I was entertained from start to finish and practically played the whole thing through in one sitting, awesome stuff! :cool:

I can definitely recommend this game. :)
 
i think the "not balanced" joke will be told for a long long time among gamers. you can see it everywhere in forums already. i hope the idiot from the interview feels proud of himself.
 
that sucks, my sp and mp got to about 35% then decided to reset, this game along with steam is a pile of junk :S

whats wrong with stuff working.


edit: oh good god its installing from the cd! only taken 7 hrs :(
 
If anyone manages to pick up a chopper call from a care package, they are completely ridiculous. You get to control it's automatic 40mm gun for about 30 seconds and it anihilates everything, even people in buildings and has heat detection. In a 9v9 game I got 25 kills just from that 30 seconds.
 
Definitely needs to be given a chance. Innocent till proven guilty. Not had a bad game yet. Absolutely adore spec ops which is amazing fun.

No regrets taking the plunge here and I was massively skeptical.

Got the AC-130 three times from actual killstreaks (11), not had the chopper gunner yet.
 
Hey guys, I'm not sure if this has been asked yet but it's past 3am now and I don't want to read through 50 pages here, and maybe another 50 in the Xbox360 thread lol.

1) Can PC players play along with PS3 and Xbox360 players in multiplayer?
2) PC or Xbox360 version? I find playing with a keyboard and mouse much more easier, especially when it comes to online FFA matches, whether it's a FPS or MMORPG. Just quicker reactions and movements really. But I read about issues with the PC online multiplayer system at the moment. I don't mind as long as they will fix it, but is this for definite?

My PC's specs are E8400 C2D, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Radeon 4850, widescreen 19" monitor running at 1440x900. I handled CoD World at War perfectly fine on high settings, so I assume I should be fine?

Only thing that might help decide on the Xbox360 version on the other hand is that if I don't enjoy this game after a while (Tbh, I'm only thinking about the game cos like over 6 of my mates are getting it so kinda bandwagon decision for me, and the last CoD I enjoyed was number 2 or 3), and seeing as the Xbox360 is in my brother's room at the moment, he will most likely enjoy the game more than me. So I could pass the game to him, and he won't have to go on my desktop anytime he wants to play lol.

Played through first few single player maps just now, really good storyline and very impressive graphics.

Cant comment on multiplayer at the moment, but im expecting big fails.
 
Its free because its crap!!! Its what people on consoles are used to. Not COD gamers. The lagg is unfkin believable in 3/4 of the servers its sticks you on. The game has been ruined. Its too consolfied. This will be the last COD i buy unless they get their finger out and get the PC versions back up to scratch
