Remembrance

Well I paid my respects as it's an extra time to remember my Grandpa who never said a word about the war. He was a POW and the Americans rescused him.

He died getting on 12 years ago after various strokes.

I know he lost some good friends as he was high up and the Germans killed his friends to get to him. He didn't even breath a word to my Mum.

RIP to all our fallen heros.

Someone in the office made me mad as they carried on. I wish I'd left the building and gone outside. People were reminded to pay there respects here - christ it's an MOD site!

I hope you all paid tribute with a two minute silence.

Some God foresaken eedjuts in my company are all now in an office getting a battering from an Ex Para who is now a Manager in our company :D

Unfortunately only three people in the office that I can see decided to have a two minutes silence.

We will never forget!

You know what mate it makes me Sick when I hear people rattle on about remembering other Crap but today is not even a Bank holiday. I sat at my Grandads feet & was the only person he talked to about the war.
I will tell my Grandson & he can tell his & we will Remember them Together forever.

My office was silent for 2 minutes, a few people even stood for up for the duration.

There was one guy who contiued working the toser but I shall be giving him scowling looks for the rest of the day and hope he gets the message.

I turned off all the lines in to our contact centres for the silence, was quite eerie given it is a massive open plan office with about 800 staff, and not a peep from anyone!

I was in an interview so couldn't stop for 2 mins, although I had one eye on the clock and gave a thought when 11 came.

I just sat in my room.

Even at school i took this serious.

Given the current situation in Afghanistan everyone should stay silent and think about it, it's not a million years ago anymore and for a lot of people it's in the family

Me and the guys in my office held 2 minutes silence, and I made sure of it by taking all the phones off the hook. Unfortunately the women in the next room were chatting and laughing just as loud as ever :/

I was silent from about 10.50 to 11.50 lol. Not because of paying respects, as i didn't know what the date was today, just had nobody to speak to.
