got my surround headphones for MW2 coming!

Hey,

Been playing the MW2 all yesturday, but i only have left and right speakers, and they arnt exactly normal pc speakers! so i have ordered some 5.1 surround headphones.

Just waiting for DPD to deliver them. hopefully soon because im getting edgy!!

wooo hurray for crappy 5.1 headphones, waste of money they don't work. Get decent proper headphones.

I bought a cheap pair of 5.1s back before I realised how crappy they were, but only had the one pair and was extremely budget so maybe there are some OK ones for their price.

well i had £50 to spend. they were the "best" for £50. all reviews were good. just couple of people somewhere on the internet said they were crap. but then again these are geeks with about 10 pairs of headsets for some reason.

Goldring 150's are first "PROPER" pair of cans and all I can say is WOW.

Goldring DR100/DR150 or Sennheiser HD555 are better

all the ones your listing at £20+ what i had to spend. if i wanted to spend that much, id just buy a surround sound system.

although i do have one sitting behind me waiting to be used... but thats not the point

Chalk it up to life experience and buy a proper set next time. 5.1 = crap.

asus xonar d2x + HD595's , i love them, better then anything sound wise i've had before.

you are going to be disappointed i tried them once upon a time, and sold off the next day.

heavy and lacking in sound quality and I went back to my HD25's

I have been wondering about this my self, Ive fancied getting a nice pair for sometime now, 5.1 would seem the obvious uneducated choice. But no will some-one please educate me, I would like to spend £50/100 on a pair.

They will mainly be used for online gaming (so need direction of where people are comming from - surround sound) and having quality sound for music.

HD555's look very tempting and other than price are they much different to 595's?
