People that annoy you - fess up

The Audi driver that cut up my wife, tailgated, and flipped her off today, resulting in her bursting into tears when she walked through the door this evening. No idea who's fault it actually was, but that kind of intimidation is just pathetic and only seems to happen on the road, when you're protected by the four walls of your car.

Just thought of a new one, cyclists on busy two way roads. A massive queue of cars builds behind the cyclist, 1 person managing to overtake every 30 seconds due to the traffic in the other lane. I get past finally and then up the road the traffic lights change, fair enough. But the cyclist will squeeze past all the cars to get to the head of the queue, meaning all the cars that spent 10 minutes trying to get past him, now have to do it again. Stay where you are you spandex monkey!!!

Exactly this - except round here they don't drive people carriers, they all drive Mitsubishi Warriors and Nissan Whateverthey'recalleds. At 90mph. Everywhere. Like, absolutely everywhere.

Hmm..do you think they could push a Jazz at 60mph with the wheels locked? :D

Being in Bristol, cyclists seem to be the root cause of most problems. People that timidly sit behind them waiting for huge gaps to over take, only they don't carry on going at the over taking speed!? Causing the cyclist to just catch up and the same thing to happen over and over!

People that think their cars are 10 feet wide. God almighty, its pretty rare that theres not enough for two lanes of traffic unless its really obvious. Just because a van is pulled up on the curb dropping something off, doesnt mean that the road is now half the width.
This is my favourite example of this......

Link.
PLENTY of room for two cars plus parked cars either side, but people think otherwise. I love carrying on regardless of traffic coming the other way, oncoming traffic stops in disbelief, flashes lights and grimaces a lot. Then, miraculously I drive on by with out any hassle! Amazing!
Also, people that think the slower your going the thinner your car is!?

even more enraging when theres a perfectly good cycle lane on the pavement

The council for ruining the road network.

Perfectly good roads spoiled for no reason, especially derbyshire/the peak district.

Extend the 30mph out of the villages, then make it 40mph, then 50mph, with solid white lines so no overtaking! Forget NSL, it just doesnt exist anymore up there!

Lorry drivers who partake in lorry driver GP on two lane roads

The people who queue for the tyne tunnel right on the white lines, so it's harder to filter past them

People who have obviously spent an extortianate amount of money on a private plate, but it's on something like a brand new base model fiesta, corsa, ffs you should have put the money into a different car or at least a better engine/trim.

People who make it they're duty to enforce the speed limit on roads when you know its safer to drive faster, forcing you to undertake them

or are you secretly bitter they have more 'storage compartments' than you :D

people who drive these motors only do as their wife made them, they had no choice, but they still rev the *&^% out of them like they drive some sports car

Not round 'ere they don't!

They get driven sedately. Boringly, frustratingly, chew-your-armoffingly sedately. And badly, too. I get far too wound up at the incompetence of other road users, particularly those driving crappy people carriers! It seems as though those of them who drive things like S-Maxes and the like, actually have a vague enough clue as to what a decent car is however, and drive in accordance. These are a rarity, however.

If I was out on a hoon and following a people carrier being driven at 9/10ths then I'd at least enjoy trying (albeit not hard) to keep up with it. But when they slow down to 28mph for bends in an NSL I just die inside :(

I have to say motorbikes who go down the middle of the road or between lanes when traffic is either slow or at a standstill (eg a red light or motorway traffic jam) a bit annoying, as I rarely see them until they actually go past.
I don't get frustrated, it just makes me think that one day I would pull off just as one is jumping traffic and would result in an accident.

People who do 60mph in the overtaking lane of a dual carriage way. Or take forever to reach 70mph by which time it's time to start breaking again for the junction.

The Royal Mail box lorry that pulled out in front of me 2 weeks ago without checking his mirrors or indicating. I had to take evasive and he still seemed oblivious.

People who over take at 1mph more then the car they are overtaking makes me rage beyond belief!

Especially when you're sat on the inside lane of a motorway, rapidly approaching the lorry ahead with your indicator on showing that you're waiting to pull out. All the while the outside lane is clear

Maybe I'll stop moving over to the inside lane and just hog the middle lane like everyone else seems to do.
