This afternoon (sorry no pics) my wife made a comment about lack of romance, because we have been together so long.

I am now a little worried.

Is she saying at the age of 47 she still wants romance with her ***, or is happy without it.

I will be 50 this year, and to be honest i like sex, but i don't want the trimmings anymore.

seriously though only you know your wife and can work out what she might be thinking/feeling. sounds like you need to both have a good chat though.

It's a relationship - you can never stop making the effort but I agree it's a good sign that there's communication. To me that's a sign to take note as she's giving you a little prod and do something immediately.

Have you thought of a little weekend city break into europe? Just you both, a new experience and see where that goes! Just don't take the PC along for a few hours gaming..

Go out for meals or just visit nice areas of natural beauty with a picnic basket. Pretty good fun either way you look at it and it would show your taking her feelings into account once again
