This phone is already in the hands of a few lucky people. I'm suffering a severe case of e-penis envy!

That said, i'm not a fan of Manila/Sense 2.5 and would only buy this phone when, or if, the chefs at xda start releasing vanilla ROMs or versions that include the older and less demanding Sense 2.1. There's a huge developmental effort going on already in modifying this particular version of the software so even on a stock ROM i believe that people will be able to customise this phone however they see fit, whether it be flashing to custom ROMs or modifying the stock one.
The important thing to remember is that the hardware spec is good enough to make the phone usable whatever the end user decides to do with it. As for the critics of WM6.5, i prefer it over Android or any other OS that's currently available. Manila 2.1/2.5, spb mobile shell, Titanium, or whatever interface you decide to go with will do a decent enough job of keeping you away from the underlying OS to keep most critics happy.
Everyone has been looking for an 'iphone' killer. This is it imo.
Another good site to check out with loads of good vids of the HD2..http://pocketnow.com/
