Well, I found it really dull. Just another overhyped generic FPS. Nothing at all ground breaking and graphics the same as COD 4. It seems to be a mod for COD4 and nothing more. Single player just made me want to quit and play something else more interesting.

I had a v quick play last night and really enjoyed it. cant wait to get home and waste my whole night on it.

How long are peeps taking to complete the SP??

took me about 10hrs but thats cos I was taking my time...some people have completed in about 7hrs...it is really short...I feel shorter than MW1 which took me 15hrs to complete...

Copy arrived today.

Not sure If I want to install though as I dont like my games being tied to steam as I tend to sell on old games eventually.

Might sell it and get 360 instead.

I found the SP campaign to be extremely dull, albeit I didn't play it for too long mainly because it never pulled me in

.. however the mulitplayer seemed really good if not 'calmer' than usual cod games.

Well I've finished the SP of MW2 earlier today. I thought the storyline was fantastic and the game itself was quality. Some pretty stunning missions in there I thought. It is a definite improvement on MW with a wider, more eclectic range of missions I think.

that is a bit short but I'm still looking forward to giving it a go. just over 2.5hours at work to go..... woop!!

if I buy this in a store on dvd does it install through steam? I always buy my games through steam as I don't like having to keep changing discs around.

when it is installed do you need the dvd in?

Of my 4 hours 45 minutes in multiplayer, about 2 minutes at the most has been spent on the things you have listed. In fact, I tell a lie, I've not had any lag whatsoever.

not too bad so far MP gd but need hardcore option for all modes
SP short on normal took 5hrs to complete although couple gd missions
pretty gay they didnt complete the storyline so they wouldnt have to come
up with a new one for the next game but last gameplay moment was sweet

Its is properly linked through steam its a steamworks game, you will not need the disc in when playing
