Features and improvements in SyncToy 2.1:

* Better Performance: The speed of file copy operations is significantly increased across the board.
* Improved Robustness: Much more resilient to transient network and file system errors and better error reporting which pin-points which file the sync failed on in case there’s a fatal error that stops the sync.
* Folder pair configuration backup: Folder pair configuration is automatically backed up under %localappdata%\microsoft\synctoy\2.0. User can replace SyncToyDirPairs.bin with the backup copy to resolve last saved configuration.
* Bug Fixes:
o Fixed the data corruption issue when using SyncToy with NAS drives.
o Fixed the issue that prevented uploading files to SharePoint when using SyncToy 2.0.
o Fixed the issue that prevented delete changes from being synchronized when the sync option is set to “Echo”.
o Fixed the UI issue where reported file time were off by the difference between local time and UTC when destination is a FAT volume.

Now I just need to get this working on my GFs laptop! It just doesnt want to wake the laptop and do it. No errors, just doesnt do it, but it is waking the laptop.

So far impressed, it's quite nifty. I might use this to back up my userprofile instead of Windows Backup & Restore Centre.

So far it's adding actions to the files, indexing I guess, and it's took about 3 minutes to complete about 200GB worth of files :)

I back up to a USB drive so it takes slightly longer :p

But thankfully I can game/watch and surf while it does it so all is well!

500GB of backing up started at half ten about 70% done!

It does it in the order of the layout on the drive though so the bulk of the stuff before 60% was smaller files so it reached 60% quickly for example then at 70% it started backing up my movies which can be several GB per file and so the remaining 30% will take longer :p

Start it up with another scheduled task run before it, then schedule this in for a few minutes later - had this problem with a mates laptop. Can't remember how I did it the wake up though :p
