Ok..better start it off..

Lian Li X500 (DEPTH 380MM)..im thinking no but im hoping yes (newly bought 250 quid case!)

GPU Length - 309mm

Cases Confirmed so far:

Coolermaster HAF 832 (DEPTH 575MM) - Thanks to VTAMANFACE

I think you'll find it will hit the back of the top hard drive cage, the 5870 is just short enough to keep clear.

Thinking of buying one Gobzzz? Be a nice upgrade from your 8800GT. Infact, you could send it back to me and I'll use it as my PhysX card ;)
 
I have a Thermaltake Armor case. I measured it earlier and it seems I have plenty of space, which is exactly why I went for a large case in the first place.

I hope so mate! its a really shallow case (beautiful though)...CustomPC however hated its heat dissipation design..so taking out a fan could potentially make the case an oven...

Its advertised to fit a 300mm card..how long is the new gpu?

i bought the case 8 months ago for a build thats never begun..been waiting for the next-next gen components to arrive!
 
For those of you going down the watercooling route (a good idea if overclocking) the card should be a bit shorter with the stock cooler taken off - possibly as much as 10-15mm shorter.
 
See this is why I'm so chuffed with buying a Thermaltake Armour years and years ago, multiple upgrades and still more than enough space for a card like this should I chose. Huge ass cases F.T.W.
 
it will fit in my Antec 1200 with about an inch at most to spare...but I want to get the Corsair 800D Obsidian as that will leave plenty of room to spare and then some :D

I have a 5870 in mine and there's tons of room left, shouldn't be an issue.

It will fit in a Lian Li P80.

I just measured it up. Even with the HDD cages i nteh case moved into the mobo area there is ample room.

If that's from the early images on alienbabeltech site, that was an engineering sample which was longer than the current cards, it was approx 13.5" IIRC.

Still it fits in the case without encroaching on the hdd bays however the hdd's stick back out of the bays by about 1" anyway so it means moving hard drive around to fit, especially if you have straight SATA and power cables.

The current cards are smaller than the stolen engineering sample they showed by at least an inch.

I have the same case and a 5970 on pre order for delivery in a week, I will take pics when it arrives :)
