When do you think the PS4 and xbox 380 will be released?

Just made up the names, but just wondered when do you think they would start developing the next line of consoles?

Like 1 year? or 5 years?

I think it would be good if they could make some amazing consoles with amazing graphics, like put the best graphics card in the world in a console, that would be sweet.

Or I guess microsoft could just release a new xbox with a better graphics card, that wouldnt be too hard would it?

I think there is a good few years in both consoles yet, with games like MW2 really showing of the power of both machines.

Stuff like project natal for the 360, looks pretty amazing, sure sony are working on something of the same sorts, cant remember now.

Get my 360 back tomorrow, When they do decide to bring out a new range on consoles I would really like to see a bit more reliability...

It's just isn't the xbox 360 like 5 years old now? And as good as some say the graphics are it doesnt seem that amazing to me.

And technologoy moves fast, if you buy the best graphics card in the world today in a years times its nothing, and in two years time its out of date, so the graphics card on the xbox cant keep up surely when its been out 5 years?

I read in a mag that MS was originally going to release a new console in 2010 but because of the recession they've knocked it back to 2012 now.

I reckon the current consoles will be around for a fair bit , the games don't look too bad at all.

Xbox 360 wont be until at least 2013/2014, MS will have invested too much into Natal to develop a new console and push that at the same time, so I would fully expect to see 1/2 years of Natal with the 360, then a new console around the time I stated that will cost a boat load to buy but will come with Natal built in, and there would be a SKU available to add the Natal component to this bundle at a cheaper price for those who already have the Natal controller.

Next Playstation I'd imagine would be around the same time.

Xbox3 (cubed) is my guess

I fully expect MS to want a couple of years with Natal out. I also fully expect it to be rubbish for 'proper' games and they may go for Christmas 2011 release with the new console.
