My cat is dying. I've had her 17 years. She can't open one eye and can't see out of the other which is open. Everytime she gets up, she takes a few steps and falls down and just lays there. She won't drink any water or have any food. I don't think she'll make it through the night. I'm totaly gutted, really sad. Long time since I've experienced a passing away in my life.

Sorry to hear it mate. My one of my cats died last year and I was gutted, still am tbh 'cos she was awesome. Thankfully I had a younger cat too who kinda filled the void.

Sorry to hear that :(

If she's really distressed it might be better of taking her to the vet? They could maybe give her metacam if she's in pain or if there's hope possibly a steroid injection to keep her going to see if she recovers?

It kind of sounds like she's had a stroke. Has she been to see the vet at all?

Inevitable for any pet owner:(, just sit by her side thriugh the night and stroke her so she knows shes not alone.

Sorry to hear that, one of our cats had to be put down yesterday :(

Sorry for your loss Justin:(.

Sucks man. Maybe take her to the vet tomorrow morning? Having it put down might be the most humane thing to do, as I doubt you'd want to see her suffer :(
