I read this on Shortnews the other day and it said she kicked the officer in the nuts and he put the taser on a low setting.
So if a strange grown man was trying to force your ten year old daughter into the shower what would your advice to her be?

Tefal, I feel your rage. I raged at this, objectively of course.
Told the gf, she raged. ****ed me off with her rage actually as I was struggling to finish the story to her.
Mucho rage, make a cup of tea...
Seriously I think the UK police should all have tasers! Easy way to detain people, I don't care what age they are, if they do not listen to the police they should be taught a short and sharp lesson in manners; never did me any harm (the lesson that is, not taser!)

Tasers are very dangerous, OK?

I got arrested the other day for refusing to give my name when they stopped me. It's my lawful right to refuse to give my name unless reported for an offense. They then proceeded to try and arrest me and a wrestle broke out between me and two officers.
There's more to the story but in the end it was found they failed to follow procedure, were in the wrong, I refused a caution and the CPS dropped the case because the officers acted poorly.
So even though I was proven right, because I didn't listen to the power hungry bullying ******** I should have been tased? By your logic?

she was resisting getting put in the shower..not arrest.
is how i read it
When he arrived, the girl was curled up on the floor and screaming, he wrote.
The youngster was also kicking and resisting every time her mother tried to get her in the shower before bed, the report continued.
Mr Bradshaw wrote: "Her mother told me to 'tase' her, if I needed to."
The officer tried to take the girl into custody but she was "violently kicking and verbally combative" and struck him, the report continued.
why does no other news station say anything about being forced into a shower.
AcidHell2 said:She was arrested and taken to a detention centre where she is charged with disorderly conduct.
She was resisting arrest and kicking and punching the officer.
Have you seen how violent 10 years can be.

officer tried to carry her into the shower....
Can be, if they have a weak heart or underlying health issues.Tasers can be deadly. They shouldn't be used to subdue an unruly 10 year old for heaven's sake.
