I noticed this too, it's like the microphone is the worlds most powerful vacuum cleaner - sucking their face towards it whilst they desperately try to resist with the rest of their body.

Don't they do this so they don't get caught miming? But that doesn't work anyway because of when they say P's and F's and theres no noise.

Have to say I'm struggling to see just why so many people here have a problem with Cheryl, she's an attractive girl, who comes across as well over on the X-Factor and ok so she might not be the best singer in the world but is still part of the biggest girl pop act in the UK and has had a pretty good start to her singles career

Some of the 'stars' in the public eye I can understand the criticism/dislike but not with Cheryl, she seems lovely :confused:

I also dont understand all the chav comments either...

Why do the morons of this nation uphold the ability to sing as some wonderous god-like talent that we should all aspire to. She can hit the right note, woop ti doo.

Next you'll be banging on about the 'miracle' of child birth whilst a few more thousand Cheryls drop out of the womb on a council estate just down the road. Marvellous.

Like someone else said, Cole's voice sounds too harsh and monotone for the song. Her voice does not suit the tone of the song at all, the voices don't work together well.

I get the same thing with Muse. Someone mentioned that Bellamy inhaled loudly at the beginning of each line and after that it was all I could hear. Fortunately Muse disappeared up their own collective ******** shortly afterwards so it was no great loss, but still.
 
She has done well for herself that is a given. Best of luck to the girl. Her singing voice leaves no impression though apart from the obvious conclusion in my opinion that she needs a lot more lessons before I would listen with any interest.
 
She's not some world class singer, I don't really care, most music I like isn't operatic tone perfect music. Likewise very few truly popular people are good at singing, Madonna is a pretty awful singer live, as are, just loads and loads of other people. Any time you see beyonce and co do live stuff you just here loud puffing and out of breathe crap singing, such is life. Most of those types of "musicians" aren't that at all, they are entertainer's, for me, not remotely entertaining, the music is crap, choreographed and taught dancing doesn't interest me in the slightest nor do pop songs that talk about nothing.

Most of the stuff I do like, some has great singing, some doesn't all have good music well played, somewhat original style and songs that mean something(certainly not all though, so much music is utter twaddle, but sounds nice).

Thats what she is though, an entertainer, she's good at it, I don't even remotely like her music, but her baps, face, legs, ass, my god. You very rarely get a nice set of boobies on a frame like that, nor with as pretty a face.

I disagree with people that randomly call her a chav, she comes across very well, other than having a ridiculous accent, which I don't hate, she comes across as a fairly nice person who got into one scuffle ages ago, which isn't rare for people to get people having a go at them. But I've been in a fight in my life, I'm in no way a chav, that one fight doesn't define me.

The most irritating thing about her, is the husband.
 
No matter how good she sings, the album she produced is still ****. She is pleasing to the eye but then again so are million other women in the world. I got to say that I feel rather indifferent to her.
