Steam, 50% off Arkham Asylum (plus a few others)

Hmm, not best pleased with Batman. I leapt before I looked. DRM! Tied to a GfW account?! Unable to save unless you're logged in!

If you wanted that you should have bought the Digital Deluxe edition, which is down from 40quid to 30quid.
I thought I could buy the cheaper one then buy the DLC as I felt like it. It's DLC, so you should be able to buy it seperate from the main game right? lol? That's what DLC is.

What are the War Hammer games like then?

loved dawn of war
the 1st expansion was ok
2nd expansion was brilliant
then i started to play supcom
then i tried the 3rd expansion(demo) and hated it...it just feels so much in your face .

not sure if its just the fact that you cant zoom out very far or it was just the last add-on that put me off it....probably a bit of both.

btw dawn of war has one of the best intros ever

Anyone reckon there will be more games under £5 tomorrow?

I missed out on the TF2 bargain, so hope that comes around again :)

TF2 is sure to come up at some point this week or hopefully if they do a big one after Christmas again as it has been reduced many times before.

And I think it's almost a dead cert that there will be more under £5 cheap games to come this week. They seem to reduce a lot of relatively unknown and/or already cheap games to even lower prices a lot purely for the factor that loads of people will buy them just because the price is so low it is practically insignificant.

L4d2 would be great but I very much doubt that will happen not really interested in buying offline games.

Lol im pretty sure you can buy the dlc, the Da:O website says "Downloadable Content for any version of Dragon Age: Origins can be purchased directly from within the game."

The only DLC you missed out on by not getting the expensive one is Warden's Keep.

You should still have a Stone Prisoner code with your game. View your keys in Steam and add them to your social site account and it'll unlock Stone Prisoner for you, then you install it ingame.

As for Warden's Keep, you can buy that seperately if you want it, it works out at about £5 or so.

I've decided not to bother, was very tempted by the thq pack but i've played a few and the rest i can't say im that interested in, sometimes these sales just look so good you think it's more worthwhile than it really is, especially if you've only a passing interest with limited time, ah well i will keep an eye out for more sales to come! :)

What DRM you talking about? I'd like to know before I buy it...

Pleased about GfWL, I'm one of the only guys in the world who actually like it though. More achievements and Gamerscore! :D

(Must admit the actual GfWL Marketplace app is a bit pants though.)

Hmm i'll wait to see if it comes out on sale before buying elsewhere.
Looking forward to see what other deals there are though! Not good for my wallet though :(

Yeah you can, it works rather well too. Just the standard wired 360 pad works fine. If you've got a wireless one then you'll either need the expensive Microsoft wireless adapter or you may be able to find a cheaper 3rd party one with some scavenging on the net.
