Yeah Apple stores will do the HE discont instore, just bring student card or proof of student with you. Theres no HE discount on ipods though, so the black friday deals will be better savings on those.

For the Macbook Pro special (13", 2.53 GHz) I save £1.85 from the HE store... I know the HE discount rocks and I can't wait to upgrade, but why bother for £1.85!!

Seriously try it, you might be surprised, assuming you bought it from a store

And you do get HE on software, well things like iwork etc.

This is a 1 day event to boost holiday sales and won't be around for long.
