Steam, 50% off Arkham Asylum (plus a few others)

Yeah, trine is good, it's worth 8.50 though so don't think you're getting a bargain. Fun game, gets boring towards the end, you won't play it again but worth the price.

According to steam I've played left 4 dead for 324 hours which works out as about half an hour of first rate gaming per penny. I'd say buy buy buy :D Plenty of people still playing.

Resident evil 5 is ... I couldn't quite get into it. They've done a brilliant job of transfering the ham-fisted panic of using a controller to the mouse and keyboard. A brilliant job, but the game is somewhat lacking, it's lacking the fun factor I think, it's just all a bit of a chore and the fleeting moments where I felt like I was enjoying myself just weren't enough. Maybe it's just me, I loved resident evil 4 but this didn't do it for me.

Borderlands is worth 20 quid of anyone's money :D

I'm not buying RE5 now. I'm gonna hold out for tomorrow's deals and see what they can offer me for my cold hard cash. I'm hoping for something like MW2 for £15, I don't see why not seeing as they've just given L4D2 away for that price, although that was a Valve game. I'd even settle for the original Dirt for £3 odd.

I've bought quite a lot of games myself from steam and still yet to play them.

I bought mass effect for £7.49 or so a couple of weeks back, probably the worst purchase I've made. got no idea on the story and the upgrades seem to pointless with not knowing what it is I'm doing.

Got crysis last week. not done much on the first but it looks brilliant with everything on very high, still downloading warhead.

Saints Row 2 - got this a month or so ago for £3.75 I think, best purchase by far. so many people complained about it having port issues, not noticed anything of the sort. Okay so of the cut scenes are a bit spazy but it doesn't effect me playing.

this week I bought KOTOR. installed this a few weeks ago and started it but seemed a little out of date due to the options for running on a new system, but it's nice to have it in steam for only £1.74... bargain.

also got dead space, played the demo on the 360 and it was an okay price.

today I was interested in res5 and ghostbusters. res5 is still a little to much for what it is, if it was £7.49 then yes but otherwise there's better buys at the moment. Ghostbusters I will get. Wanted to get this a few weeks ago to get double points off somewhere but left it until the day before yet the points weren't availabl, complained and said I could still get them if I emailed them my order no. but thought that's too much of an effort. so seeing it for £7.49 is a well welcomed surprise :)

hopefully republic commando might get the same treatment a kotor

I've also bought tons of games recently. On the downside Crysis warhead (£9) and L4D2 (£29 :( ) have both been dissapointing. I can never get to grips with Crysis games and character feel in L4D2 is awful. I'm sure I'm missing something but I'm just not interested at all.

On the plus side GRID for £3 or whatever I paid has been fantastic. Dragon Age has also been good and looks as though it'll keep getting better. Despite MW2's serious multiplayer downfalls it still kicks ass ;) Ironically though lately I've only been playing Plants vs Zombies (£4) and Osmos (£2). Simple but loads of fun!

Is anyone else tempted to get L4D1 just for the maps to play in L4D2? That is when they have a polished way of playing them.

I bought L4D1 yesterday, L4D2 the day before. If you fancy a co-op whack at L4D1 with someone who's going to be very ****, gimme a call on my steam id Mellifluous (the one with the yellow avatar).

Can't really understand how you can not know what's going on with Mass Effect - you can always right click the title and download the manual from Steam. Probably one of the best games in the last couple of years.

Sadly nothing on the days offers I want - 4 hours to the next lot!

Well my thinking is that to paly the original campaign maps in the sequal you'll technically need to own a copy of the game.

Whether or not valve officially allow this is another thing mind.

just waded in on the THQ pack

fancied having a go at the red faction games

plus i havent played any rts for a while so company of heroes and dawn of war should keep me good for a bit
