Dreaming of a Hayabusa

I always preferred the Kawasaki's myself, never could get one to handle properly mind. The Dukes and Suzies just managed to scratch easier. But that was a while ago when they were a bit heavier :)

I think if I was going for a bike now, I'd go for something light and nimble with a good bit of poke.

My bike dreaming consists mainly of a scratch build though.

I was trained as a motorcycle mechanic in '79 BTW :)

I know they are real machines, but I wish the back end of them looked slightly different.

Just been watching/listening some youtube videos just now though, very fun.

Exactly my thought! The older busa had a much nicer rear ;) :p

To Spie: What are you waiting for!? (except summer conditions :p) GO FOR IT!

spie - ive got a k8 busa which i changed too from a 99 busa and in some ways prefer the old unrestricted one. but that said that k8 is far superior and ive been more than happy with it.

go for it, busa will be my next bike most likely... just want something relaxed

might hold out for next incarnation of it though.. maybe they can give it more power :)

Spie, I know what you mean about the Busa.
I'm seriously thinking about buying one again when I'm back in work. It's an itch I need to scratch.

Funny isn't it how things come round full circle. We constantly search for the perfect bike and are never entirely happy.

Incidentally Mr Rilot & Flukester. Did you do the short tie bar/dog bones mod to jack up the back end an inch and quicken the steering on your Busas? I did and it made quite a difference. Can't find the exact dimensions now though.

definitely go for it!

I really hope to have a Busa at some point. I just ticks all of the criteria i look for in a bike (Power, Looks and most important Comfort!)
