my friend is running a intel system so i don't have another spare am3 chip, i have only got am2+ chipsOk cool gareth170!
Would be good to nick/loan a spare CPU of a friendly overclocker if you think yours is suspect . . .swapping out components is a quick way to nail these elusive glitches although not everyone has spares . .
Can you be more specific about the errors, I'm not quite sure from what you have said? . . . . sounds like your PC was fine until your last GPU swap?
Is the system overclocked? did you try it at stock? . . is there any chance you bOrked the O/S> . . . . . are all the leads working fine, faulty SATA cable etc
Tell me are the BIOS settings on [Auto] or did you manually adjust some of them? . . .what is the CPU-NB voltage set to? . . .I had a slight rebooting under load issue when overclocking the Athlon II the first time, nailed it down to the CPU-NB not getting enough juice . .
Any more info you can give will be useful . . .![]()
the errors are random and about anything. e.g internet explorer crashs, desktop crashs, whole screen goes a shy blue (nice colour really

the system as been overclocked for about 3-4 mouths, which i manuelly,
CPU-NB was at 1.25 then i upped it to 1.30v but still the same. did a fresh install of win7 but still same
now i'm thinking it's heat or cpu voltage that as degraded the cpu because i have underclocked it and it's working fine.
but when i contacted amd they said my cpu is fine up to 1.425v max / 70c tcare max... i kept the voltage at 1.4v. i don't know the core temp because the sensor is broke.
anyway my gf said she'll buy me the 965 for an xmas gift.
