Some advice very welcome.

I had a nice bike in the summer, a full sus Sworks enduro and loved coming down mountain very fast. I also took it to Chamonix and life was great!
However the shock broke and couldnt be bothered to fix and sold it.

summer:

Now the winter has come I quikly got a Summer Season hardtail frame for cheap (new) I love riding it as I can come down fast and go up "faster" than the Enduro. However, here is where my problem lies. Its so heavy for a hardtail its unbelievable, whole bike is close to 28lbs:eek: - Plus it looks cheap!

Winter:

So I want a bike like the Summer Season but A WHOLE lot lighter, plus im going to Morzine next summer (Just paid) So basicly a hardtail with long travel (140mm revs 2010) or what full sus? so many out there! frame or whole bike considering the spec of my bike now is good.:confused: Just so confusing! TI any good?

My budget for frame is £800

My friend has an orange crush and it is such a nice bike. Climbs nice and on the downs it is amazing. Fits your needs for Morzine. What date you going next year? Im going 17th July to 1st of August!

Just paid for the Orange Crush 19" in green. Cant really justify the TI frame that i was thinking about. Plus being 6061 alu its going to be Light! perfect! - Thanks Big Chris for the suggestion.

Next on the shopping list is a road bike :D thinking of the Cube on CRC £599;

I cant afford TI or anything too expensive, as were planning for a baby etc. I will probably now be in the good books with the wife! which is all good. :)

I've been pondering how I afford that frame for weeks now, you went and bought it within 3hrs of me suggesting it!

Do I get a finder's fee...?

Actualy took me 5 minutes, lets see how that was done.

1. Slack head for my 140mm forks - check
2. Light aluminuim - check
3. Bright green and UK make (orange) - check
4. had £600 for second hand TI frame / saved a lot of cash - check
5. in a rush got to go to work - check!

thanks mate

No probs. Get some pics up once it's built, unless I've bought one (I mean put it on my credit card) by then.

I'm after a 19" too so am interested to see how it sizes up, the pics on the web are all 15" or 17" I think as they look better.
