how would you feel if you were the bloke in the middle seat?

All airlines should have a standard weight per person (not group/family)
Say 115kg limit (95kg (15stone) for the person and 20kg for baggage allowance)

Anything after 115kg and the person should be charged per kilo, something like £20/a kilo

That's a poor idea.

I'm curious, if it were a body builder instead if people would mind?

They probably aren't so "blobby" but may weigh 18 stones or so in certain cases.

As long as they dont spill over into another seat or out into the aisle then i wouldn't care.

That's me screwed then as I weigh 100kg :p Then again I don't think I've ever had a suitcase weigh much more than 12kg so I might be ok ;)

If the guy did just get up from his seat to chat to his mate then I don't mind so much - though I still think they guy is too big and should lose some weight. However if he can fit in the seat then fine, though it'd suck to be sat next to him! :D

I've been crammed between 2 fat blokes before and I charmed the stewardess in moving me to another seat - but this wasn't a budget airline. Did I feel bad? Nope, besides it meant the fatties could spill to middle and fly more comfortably themselves. :) And I got 2 seats to myself as a result. Happy days!

What about someone really tall? Someone 6'8" weighing 16 stone would then be charged more...

Tbf it looks like the two seats behind him are free (I'm assuming he bought them both) and he's just come up to talk to his mate in front so perched on the edge.

I'm 18st 3 and dont 'spill over' so for everyone getting righteous about onboard weight please calm down. Its the 6' 4" that makes the flight very uncomfortable for me and for the people around me (legs dont fit straight ahead, have to bow them outwards).

They should measure a persons gravitational pull. If it's greater than Jupiter's, they shouldn't be allowed to fly.

Unfortunately, this means that the man in the OP would be walking to his destination instead - which is the 2nd advantage to my scheme!

Some fat bitch on the train earlier this week took up two seats whilst others have to stand (not me I might add, I got on the train earlier). She should pay for two tickets.

As for planes, that bloke shouldn't be let on in my opinion. Or he should pay two fares and sat by the window across two seats. He should also have a smaller baggage allowance to make up for the fact that most of it is taken up by his lard arse.

I lol'ed :p

Agreed, im 6"4 and weigh in at 16 stone :(

I went to see Ricky Gervais live last week and the guy sitting next to me was huge. I litterally lost about a third of my seat and was really uncomfortable all show - cost me £34 for the ticket too!!!
