OcUK Photo Comp - Season Eight : Round Twelve - "Free Study" DISCUSSION

Same, I don't care really if it's overcast, I just need it to not rain. Plus if I don't do my research before hand there is a possibility I will die.

Think plenty of research is in order then!

Really not sure what i'm going to do for this one- got one or two idea's but nothing great :(

now are you sure that Helen will be with you on this shoot as you mentioned earlier! :p

Might have to see about getting in an early entry this weekend so i can be a bit more flexible nearer the end of the month once I'm off work for Christmas :)

Cool...hopefully I'll make an entry myself this month :)

btw guys, I've listed some more photographic gear in the MM if you want to take a look (there's a Metz Flash Unit, a couple of little tripods and a few other bits n pieces).

It's not an easy theme, and it's by no means easy to mark either, which is why we each gave 10 for the theme mark last time around.

It's a nice way to end the year though and it should give you all an opportunity to show everyone what you do best. Christmas smilies all round :)

I'm hoping for some more frost so i can get a few macros. Got a few good shots last year so hopefully I'll get something to enter.

Willis, I'm think it could be my monitor but your image looks like there's a lot of black artefacts... I've also recently noticed it more and more on jpeg format images since I calibrated my monitor - I need better panels I think :/

Seems all ok here on my iMac and showed someone it on my Macbook Pro and looked fine

I just went and shot waves coming in under the moon and they looked fantastic.

unfortunatly they have all turned out grainy, even though i was iso 200, 800, 1600, no difference in grain. GRRR
