All men watch pr0n, according to scientists

Actually I've never intentionally watched any. I can't say for sure whether I have seen any (ie flicking through TV channels, or internet ads, school videos ,etc), but I know I haven't watched any of my own choice.

(I'm straight by the way! :p )

i guess all the scientists were looking for you:p

Pervert!

If can not touch it lick it or sniff it I'm not interested.

I'm only slightly interested. pr0n has to be pretty darn good to interest me. I guess I'm not the most interested in watching other people have sex no matter how much the girl fake orgasms at the camera ;)

someone needed a scientist to figure this one out ?

I bet some scientist got caught watching pr0n at work:

Head Scientist: Whats this you're watching, PR0N!?! You'd better have a damn good reason for watching this obscene filth.

Junior Scientist: Erm, I..I, i'm doing some research.....yes that's it, research into pr0n.

Head Scientist: Oh, okay then, look forward to seeing your results.
:D

Prof Lajeunesse interviewed 20 heterosexual male university students who consumed pornography

Hardly a representative sample of the male population. must have been a slow news day yesterday.

that wasn't the sample they used to decide all men watched porn that was just to see if porn had affected them in any way.

Whilst it was mostly obvious, I'm a bit surprised at this bit:

"Prof Lajeunesse interviewed 20 heterosexual male university students who consumed pornography, and found on average, they first watched pornography when they were 10 years old.

10 years old? Really? Maybe it's just coincidence due to the small sample size. Does this surprise anyone else?

It probably depends on how widely you define the word "porn".

For example, is a picture in a catalogue of a woman modelling underwear porn? It was for me when I was a boy. Maybe when I was as young as 10. I don't remember, but I do remember that I was lusting after my English mistress when I was 11.

There's also the possibility of watching porn without really seeing it as porn. If you define "porn" widely enough, quite a lot of stuff on TV after 2100 is porn. It's normal for a 10 year old to want to see it just because they're not supposed to. A modern example would be True Blood. I wouldn't be surprised if there are 10 year olds who want to watch it because it's about vampires (= cool) and because they're not supposed to watch it, but it could easily be classed as porn.
