it does give you an advantage but i wouldn't says its unfair or cheating

its like me using a high dpi gaming mouse and someone else using a generic ball mouse i would no doubt have an advantage over that person but i would hardly class that as cheating

You high dps mouse doesn't let you fire faster or run faster or jump higher or run quieter though does it?

But it makes aiming far easier, more responsive and easier to move around :p

Swings and roundabouts!

with a bit of luck they will be looking over their shoulder at MOH and BFBC2 and releasing SADS for this.

Tbh, The whole maxfps isn't like a massive difference, its like 1% or something. Its more how the game 'feels'

I'd still like to be able to actually decide this for myself though.

I'm not sure about all of this bickering but I'd just like to say after a very long download through Steam (started at 8pm, finished at 3am) I'm enjoying this game a fair bit.

I don't own a console so I can't comment on the differences but it's a very good sequel to MW. I've dabbled in a the single player a little and got 4 or 5 missions wound up. I then started on the multiplayer and haven't stopped since!

To be honest I do think the Multiplayer has been console-ised, but it's not terrible. I actually prefer having less players because let's face it, on 50 man COD4 servers how many times do you find yourself getting shot in the back by somebody who's just spawned behind you?

Great game so far and hopefully I'll catch a few of you lot on Steam for some games. :)

last 3 games I've played have had a hacker in every single one. Most ammusing game was the most recent, where each team had an aimbotting player, and they were wiping everyone out constantly while chatting away saying how pants mw2 was.

This game is well and truly ruined IMO. Full of hackers trying to prove how bad it is, is making it even worse though. I do understand their point to be fair....

back on cod4 and loving it :)

Regarding the sp story

SPOILERS

What is it with price seemingly coming out of nowhere with no explaination as to why he was in the gulag? He was presumed dead in cod4 with friendly russians trying to revive him, then next thing we know its 5 years later and they seem to have known he's been there all that time yet are only now going to get him once its hit the fan.

I don't get that at all, obviously in cod4 at the end there was a good chance he was alive since they make a point of showing gaz get nutted point blank and at the end we see price getting cpr, just don't understand why the "friendly" russians imprisoned him.

Wonder if it will be explained in the next game or somethig they'll gloss over leaving a big question mark.

The game itself is great, once you're actually in a game!
The network side of it is total, utter garbage.

I completely agree with you.

Tried to play with 6 clan mates tonight and we had to leave so many games because one or two guys would get dropped every map or two. Then we'd try again and someone would get dropped again.

So overall whats is it like? I have not been able to read any reviews or been able to play it as im over in Afghan still. RnR in 3 days so was hoping to sit and **** it for 2 weeks on MP...

Does anyone else suffer from lots of different error messages trying to join MP games on PC ?
e.g.
No or bad challenge address
Unable to connect to host
Game lobby closed
Failed to join Steam lobby
Server connection timed out
Steam connect failed
Could not migrate host
