I think he's one of the few people who is, quite a lot of shower gels have the same thing, also squeezy bottles of sauce(ketchup etc) do.

Considering how blannd lucozade sport is I'm surprised you can't just empty one out, give ti a soak in some hot water first and you'll be fine

Hmm, I'll have to look more into that. Although obviously ketchup and shower gel bottles are out for even worse reasons than the lucozade :p

As mentioned I am pretty sure Evian do the same type of design.

I dunno, I'm certainly not going to go out of my way to erm rise to your challange :p

GL with it though :)

unless they've changed the design of the evian bottles then they're not the same, the hard plastic bit is very similar but it doesn't have the soft rubbery plastic bit the op is talking about

Stop feeding the troll everyone. 24 and has never picked up a sports cap bottle of water *sigh*.

This isn't a troll thread. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it. I'm looking for a specific thing and hoping someone can help point me where to find it; by all means join in a discussion here as this is what the forum is for, but please try to refrain from making ill-thought-out accusations.

Thanks to Abraham for confirming my thoughts on their availability :(

:S codswollop ! Ive been using my empty lucozade bottle for months for the gym, i fill it with water, and it tastes of well....WATER ! nothing else

Ah but then it tastes of the washing up liquid :p :(

Haha, no it doesn't. I've washed plenty of bottles and they do not taste of the washing up liquid. Think of any cups/plates/knives and forks that have been washed with washing up liquid, do they all taste of it?! No. :p

Plastic is different in that molecules of whatever get stuck in the uneven surface and then get slowly released - that's the reason it tastes of lucozade after washing out in the first place. Cutlery and cups - made from metal and glass - do not have this problem.

However, I'll take that under advisement :)
