How much can you drink and still be standing?

Half a litre of vodka and 4 cans of beer, that night i learnt my limits by passing out then waking myself up by puking all over myself. nowadaysi drink around between 8-12 pints on a night out so i get nice and drunk but not puke or fall in gutters.

Haha, sorry. I went through the drinking phase early and quickly - thankfully. Been sober for nearly a year and don't miss it one bit, especially the hangovers :p
 
Off topic

'Bey' was quite common when I was in Devon, me and my mates used to use it all the time. Wouldn't think of typing it on a forum though.

As for a serious answer to your question OP, I don't drink hardly at all (a glass of wine here a few times a year basically), I see very little (read no) point in drinking so I can't stand.
 
Not much till I'm drunk, unfortunatly when I get drunk I don't stop and will drink a fair amount. Never record how much I drink, grew past bragging rights on alcohol.
 
Around 8 pints and ill happily stop. However i have been in such a state that i was thrown out of a club and couldn't walk to get a taxi so i lay in the middle of town with puke all over me.


Not big, Not clever.... And hopefully it wont happen again.

This. Not that I ever get that far. I like to drink, I don't drink to get drunk.

Spirits, I can drink more than is healthy. Wine a bottle and I'm well on the way to being drunk. Pints, to be honest getting worse with age. 8-10 used to be easy in an evening... now I feel the effect after 3 and stop at 4 (I don't like hangovers)!

I have a Litre of Vodka as a pre drink , a few pints in my local town and then i have 5 or 6 cocktails followed by 3 or 4 shots. After this im borderline tipsy.

Just for the future it's jaundice and cirrhosis. I don't know if jaundice is particularly linked to excessive alcohol consumption but it doesn't sound like your mate did anything very clever there.

I don't know how much I can or could drink and still be standing, I do however know that I wouldn't like to try and count it because there are much better things to be doing with my time.
 
So far today I have had a few cups of tea, glass of fanta and a can of coke. No problems yet, although I did trip up the stairs, but I think that was just my mistake.
 
To drink half pints is not a wuss IMO, alcoholics sometimes do it cos of the speed they drink at to try and drink less or something.
