Firefly - Still worthy of a watch?

Definately worth a watch, 14 episodes iirc and they take place before the film (film is far better after watching the tv episodes) :)
 
Theres a decent number of episodes - tho not sure if 2 of them have been legally released or not.

I really enjoyed it myself - it takes a good middle road with evereything.

Theres no silly science nor does it hit you with pseudo hard science.

Story and characters are well realised with enough background detail for you to fill in the blanks but not so much detail that you stop caring - which involves you more with the story imo

Special effects are used sparingly but to good effect.

Its a little old school and slightly rough around the edges but not so much that you think low budget.
 
I regret watching the film first. I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I'd watched the TV series first.

Still, both are excellent. I prefer the TV series.
 
Aye I watched it the wrong way round though it didn't detract from my enjoyment. Though, obviously, the fates of certain characters was muted for me.
 
Can only agree it's most definately worth a watch, still one of my favourite series and has yet to stop being enjoyable when re-watched :)
