It's 'Manic Monday' and shoppers are expected to spend £17million an hour today over the internet. The total outlay will hit £417million in just 24 hours, making it the busiest web shopping day of the year. Sales are expected to peak between 1pm and 2pm when office staff log on from work. Another hectic period will have occured this morning when mothers got home after dropping their children off at school. And the biggest-selling items? They're expected to be Apple iPod Touch, Wii fit, Scalextric and LCD TVs

Apple iPod Touch, Wii fit, Scalextric. What a stupendous waste of money, LCDs on the other hand are reasonable.

I order quite a lot from there, it's often cheaper than the high street and I get free delivery on nearly everything

that's not that big especialy considering the lack of racking :s

EDIT didnt see the second photo. ok, that looks bigger :D

That warehouse system looks like something Skynet might build.

However I still don't like Amazon very much for shopping, their search results are annoying at times.

Thats what i am thinking, it just looks big because they have just put all the pallets on the floor, if it was on racking then it would look a lot smaller and like any other warehouse

I can't fault Amazon for customer service, they are exactly how an etailer should operate.

BTW OcUK are pretty good too :D

They have a lot of really obscure stuff in stock, the range of stuff they have is amazing.
I think you'll find they don't stock it all. If you want to see an big warehouse you should check out some of the dropshippers like Bertrams and Gardners
