KGB Destroyed Hitlers Body in 1970

The reasons for the disposal even more persuasive today in Europe?

Andropov's decision to destroy the remains of the Nazi leaders and their family members was motivated by the fears of the KGB and Soviet Communist Party leadership that Hitler's burial site could become a place of worship for supporters of fascist ideas.

Very interesting. I find it quite odd that this isn't top-news and yet Mr Woods' retirement is.

Incidently, I stumbled on this on the BBC.

Can't trust those Russkies further than you can throw them.

Could you please elaborate on this clearly well thought out comment?

If the story is true, the FSB went through with this to prevent massing of sympathisers, a concept which should certainly be understandable in the modern day. How does this reflect on the Russians as treacherous?

I visited a certain white nationalist site for a laugh once and there was a heated debate on whether Hiter was still alive or not. Nevertheless, I guess it is irrelevant now, unless he is immortal . Personally, I thinik he topped himself and died like a coward. A snivelling, filthy rat trapped in his little hole.

Hitler would be 121 years old if still alive. I have my doubts as to him being alive quite frankly. ;)

Theres been about 20 Discovery documentaries on how the KGB tried to destory him, how his bodygaruds tried to burn him ect ect ect.

The reinactments were funny ^^
