Switching to Bing

Firstly... What privacy issues are you on about?

And secondly... if there are privacy issues with google - you don't think there will be privacy issues with the Microsoft owned search engine? :p

guess you missed what one of the google managers said then?

please refresh us about this

I may switch to bing just due to the difference in image results to google when i type in "mega boobs" gets a bit boring seeing the same ones all the time :p

No I didn't. But Schmidt seems more of a business guy than a technologist so I ignored his statement :p.

I just think they could do a lot worse. I mean they have been quite transparent and released various dashboards control panel things and stating they don't store logs past X number of days or IPs etc. With a company as popular as them, by definition they will get insane amounts of data, and I think they deal with it fairly well.

I love it, claim you are switching because of "Privacy Issues" them completely fail to enlighten us as to what these "Privacy Issues" actually are.

Fail guys, Fail.

Also I would rather have my toes savaged by a ravenous badger than use Bing. Its horrid.

Bing is a dreadful search engine.

I do a search in Bing and get a load of results that don't give me what I'm looking for. I do the exact same search in Google and get meaningful results. No thanks!

Didn't the manager of google say something a few weeks back along the lines of "Unless you are a criminal you shouldn't need to worry about online privacy."?

Which sent all sorts of people into some sort of paranoia.

I actually like Bing and I think most of the stick it gets is because it's a Microsoft product and nothing to do with how it functions. I really do think at the moment, on balance it's a better search tool

and support of the patriot law (or something like that) as well as a shocking report by privacy international. I could be totally wrong only heard about it in passing and didn't pay much interest, Google is a pile of **** anyway.
