Prior to the final of the ITV talent show, he said: "I think the campaign's aimed directly at me."
excellent, i don't care about the charts but to have RATM as UK number one would be amazing.
It will be amazing to hear the radio in the morning: 'and now for the UKs Christmas number one.... Rage Against The Machine with Killing In The Name...... **** YOU I WONT DO WHAT YOU TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA <PLEASE GOD LET THIS HAPPEN!>
thats the back up one, the real group has so many members 760k ish it keeps crashing. Give it 10minutes it'll be back up.
Just had an email from Amazon informing me that I have a £2 credit for purchasing a CD from there recently.
I doubt I'd use it any other way so have just bought 6 copies of Killing In The Name.
Buying multiple copies could be counter productive.
If lots of people do this the single could be disqualified.
So, stats people, what can you throw at me?
Current sales for each?
Percentage of online sales last year?
Single sales in disc format 2008?
Why on earth would it be disqualified? This isn't a 'vote for your favourite' contest it's just a ranking of record sales. Nobody cares if you buy it to listen to or to set on fire - a sale is a sale.If lots of people do this the single could be disqualified.
unfortunately i have no stats according to the newspapers RATM is number 1 at the moment but the xfactor rubbish releases his hard copy in shops tommorow and i worry that musically challenged retards out-number us.
But my point is that you have to remember this is not about who has sold the most last year, this year or in any year. This is about sales for this week alone.
Retail sales of singles by format

Why does anyone care what's number one at Christmas? Anyone with half a brain already knows that RATM will be remembered and respected long after x-factor guy has had his 15 minutes.
