Would you allow someone to die for 500k?

if you were to say yes, would you be able to see who died.

I'm not sure, its a huge gamble. If someone you didn't like or a murderer or something like that I couldnt care less and I would be up on cash :D

However if it ended up being someone I cared for in my life.... well it would be devestating.

I'd prob say no anyway as the risk is to great if it goes wrong.

If we say that the average human has about 50 people in their immediate friend/family circle then you're probably looking at odds of around 1 in 1,227,982.36 chance of it being someone you were close to dying. You probably have more chance of killing them by simply being near them.

(Just playing Devil's advocate).

I'd say yes. You'd have no idea who you've killed so how could it play on your mind if you don't know who they were?

That's my view anyway. However, if someone said here's £500,000 if you let me kill a random person and then tell you who it was I'd probably say no thank you.

Well, not knowing is probably pretty painful if you think about it.

You'd never know if you'd killed a tramp sipping his last vodka, or a trainee doctor celebrating her graduation.

That line pretty much changed the outcome, as the entire thing relies on the chance that it could be traced back.
Only if you're the sort of person who makes their decision on the basis of whether they're going to get caught rather than on whether it's right or wrong.

You aren't killing anybody, the magical forces would be choosing to.

But if you said no they wouldn't have died. If you say yes they will die. So regardless of direct murder you still hold responsibility. If you choose to not accept that then perhaps that's a way of dealing with it, but I don't know that everyone could.

Regardless of the fact that people die every day, there will be 1 more person dead that day BECAUSE OF YOU.

Justifying it by saying "It's just another death" is essentialy justifying murder because "it doesn't really matter".
