maybe he was thinking of doing something like setting up his own charity and wiping maleria out (for instance) saving millions of peopel every year...

if you can press the button 10000 times that should give you the money to save 100's of million of people...
 
2 pound a week can save a child, so 2 x 52 x 70 (years), lets call it 8k, still 492k

BTW I love all this talk of anyone who says yes having no morals. I have morals I know the difference between right and wrong, I would just love to be able to let my kids travel the world whilst they are young, and am willing to overlook my morals.

I'm betting most of the people that said no would change their minds if it actually happened, safe in the knowledge that only they would know about it and not just taking the moral high ground on a public forum.

Of course you have no morals, you're killing a human being so your kids can travel the world with no effort.

I would kill someone for my family if they were threatened, or to save someone. But I wouldn't to boost my own materialistic worth through a byproduct of our society. It's just money. Money was made by humans, it has no bearing on the fabric of life, happiness, contentment, anything. It's little pieces of paper with the queen's head on it, fgs.

He said he will save one, so one dies and another that would have died lives... however I think he could have saved a few more at only 8k a pop...
 
No. Could not do it. I am fine financially so I would not.

Like the chap said above though, depends on circumstances (and the individual). If you did not have a job, no house, starving kids etc etc, then maybe some would do it who here have said they would not.

I like to think that I would never ever do such a thing, however I have never been desperate.

Good job it is fantasy aye. ;)

Money holds no sway, im broke and I still would not do it.

I know at least 50% of the people I know would do it with a smile, sad fact of moral decay.

I do emphasise, 'know' these people are not 'friends', I think the majority of my friends would not do it, at least i would hope so.
 
Some people in the armed forces get paid to push buttons an kill people everyday, would be easy for them i guess.

You're logic is very, very flawed.

You use the term 'kids' in plural when talking about murdering for them to travel the world, few questions, would you be happy for one of your children to be the one killed by your button push so the other could travel the world? Would you be happy if it was a bus driver who died whilst taking your kids to school?
