That really really ****s me off. I never liked Daily Fail anyway but this is basically what is wrong with social media today.
I'm actually quite annoyed at that article, I know I shouldn't be but I just hate the manipulation.

Its not corporate backed 'manipulation' though. At least with Facebook, you could argue its less forced. Much harder to avoid the X Factor than an online group.
To be honest, come Saturday, this will all be over. Joe's single will obliterate the Rage track because everyone's wife and mother is gonna go out and buy McElderBerry's cover song.
I'll probably still buy a couple more Rage copies until then though.
Manipulation is a pretty broad word, the context I was using it in is no where near akin to the suggestion that sparked agreement on facebook.
