rage against the x-factor - Outcome: RATM is the Christmas Number One!

Yeh, i've heard Tom Morello's Night Watchman stuff, I quite like it but it's totally different listening.

I wouldn't mind some new Rage music to blast out and think to myself.. "Yeh, up yours" to whatever I'm feeling angry with

wtf, the Guardian is saying that Tom Morello is Barak Obama...

Guardian said:
Killing in the Name could be a knock-on result of the Obama effect. Bear with me on this: if Obama were a rock star he wouldn't be Will.i.bloody.am, he'd be the Paul Robeson-quoting Tom Morello. The similarities are startling: both were born mixed race in the early 60s to a Kenyan parent. Both are Harvard-educated liberals with strong ties to Chicago, who have been awarded for their human rights work. Both have worked in the senate, one more successfully than the other. It almost seems fitting for a song such as this to see in the first Christmas of a black man running the planet.

yes, one guy is a sell out puppet who is expanding existing wars and creating new ones and the other one of the most amazing guitarists alive with political beliefs that are totally different to Obamas.

i dont know whats more sickening to me, the suggestion that this is all happening because of Obama or the comparison of Tom to our Saviour... i mean Obama.

this just reminds me why i hate the mainstream media.

EDIT: the financial times are now writing more ridiculousness - http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/cbfc52ac-ec0c-11de-8070-00144feab49a.html

basically the general gist of this is that this is all about Simon Cowell and how Britain would sink into a financial swamp if Cowell left the country as he paid £21 million in taxes last year.... because the UK doesn't manufacture anything any more apart from Simon Cowells 'great' pop stars.

The reporting on this is starting to get stupid.

EDIT II: Rage still ahead, winter weather may hinder Joe's bid to become the first homosexual to beat Rage......http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news...celderry-s-christmas-no1-bid-115875-21907951/

lets all hope for a good thick blizzard over the next 24 hours.

everyone needs a bit of anarchy this Christmas sad fact is it'll still get beaten by grannies in sainsburys buying chrimbo turkey roll and some joe for Christmas

Hahahaha

Probably a repost but Joe said this when he heard rage:

"They can't be serious! I had no idea what it sounded like. It's dreadful and I hate it. How could anyone enjoy this? Can you imagine the grandmas hearing this over Christmas lunch?

"I wouldn't buy it. It's a nought out of ten from me. Simon Cowell wouldn't like it. They wouldn't get through to boot camp on The X Factor - they're just shouting."

It deserves to be bought just for this :p

lol, the DJ at our works xmas doo at the celtic manor resort made a joke about this tonight, there were loads of cheers for the rage :):):) Must have been about 300 people there from different companies, some liked the xfactor boy tho
