If you could remake a game...

Prolly Carmageddon 2, even now it is amazingly fun to play :)

I'm also gagging for the old sonic games to be remade into 2.5D, it would just be so epic :D oh and Constructor!

Screamer 4X4 - very good game in depth also, quite fun, look bloody fantastic with new graphics

I agree with black and white, but black one white 2 is quite good anyway.

oh yeah INCOMING! and incoming forces I loved those games :( they will look awesome with new graphics

oh and the final two, interstate 76, and crimson skys (like blazing angles)

I swear, I've never met anyone else who's played this game! I played this more than I played FFIX, and not only cos that FF was crap. Never did get all the puzzle pieces, but I got everything from the dart board minigame, and finding those damn darts took an age! Now I've gotta find a copy somewhere...

Certainly not enough people! I'd love to see X Wing vs Tie Fighter, absolutely loved that game.
On the console side of things, Space Hulk would be brilliant with a graphics overhaul, that was a seriously scary game.

Hmmmm... quake 2 would be interesting, never thought about it but I think it would be great idea to make it with all the newest graphics and stuff.

I'd remake road rash and carmageddon too !
 
Planetside - just needs bigger maps, persistant campaigns and regular new maps preferably themed. The original games biggest let down was the fights got to repititious.

Elite/Frontier - never loved the X games so still waiting for that space game to make me go wow.

Yep i loved these types of game, i was importing all the time. I think alundra, breath of fire, suikoden and final fantasy were the games i played the most at that point in time. I never got into star ocean. Im sure there were a few other rpgs i cant quite recall right now but damn the 2d graphics were beautiful and the games were atmospheric and the story actually drew you in... good times!
 
If I could have any game remade it would have to be Halflife TFC. Using the graphics engine from CODMW2, but with identical gameplay to the original. That game wasted 2 years of my life with clans etc, and to this day was the best multiplayer game i've ever tried. Then 2nd on my list would as said above have to be Zelda - Link to the Past from the SNES, still the best of the series IMHO.
 
Carmaggeddon, Altered Beast, Janes ATF, Severance: Blade of Darkness..... there are far to many to list!
 
Why remake games that are already fantastic, like some people are suggesting...?:confused:

I'd remake Trespasser, because it was poor to start off (so much promise unfulfilled) with and a well-made Jurassic Park game would be ******* awesome.
 
Diablo I/II
XCom Ufo Enemy Unknown - none of the sequels captured the brilliance of the original, but it looks crap on my computer now.
Quake, the first one (was meh over the 2nd one, but loved the visuals and atmosphere of the first)
Descent
Duke Nukem 3D
Aliens v Predator 1/2 (oh wait... - it's got big shoes to fill!)
