Is there one?

Simples.

Commercial ones want like $99 lolz. Just asking before I partake of the forbidden digital fruit.

Unfortunately not :(. The ironic thing is all commercial Blu-Ray software is utter rubbish! I wouldn't dare install PowerDVD on my PC. For Blu-Ray AnyDVD HD + VLC/MPCHD/Splash/WMP wins!.

Ah right there's also AnyDVD HD. :)

But lol @ writing a prog to remove copyright protection and expecting people to pay for it. :)

Your choice is limited to PowerDVD, WinDVD & Acrsoft TotalMedia Theatre! Out of them I would choose Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre. However, AnyDVD HD + freeware player wins hands down. I rip all Blu-Rays to M2TS containing just the video + HD audio :).

+1:) great piece off software , had it for years.

I had so many issues with PowerDVD and ended up hating it so much I went out and bought a stand alone player. :(
WinDVD didn't seem much better.
And I tried the demo of Arcsoft but never once got it to load the player.

Don't think it'll be free but there was a new media player being pimped on here a little while back that is meant to be getting BR support in the future. But I can't remember the name of it at the moment.

I've got a BR drive for my PC but I'm giving serious consideration to buying a 32" screen and a BR player so I can have a proper system and use it for Xbox360/PS3/Wii as and when I can get them. :)
