Seemed like an excellent idea at the time. I managed to turn my driveway into an ice rink. Awesome.

In between the ice forming I managed to get a quick layer of wax on.

Don't watch the photography skills. There aren't any.

When I walked home for sunday lunch with the family I found my dad washing the car in the driveway - I facepalmed

Bloody idiot taxi driver down the road from us has been washing his car in the street today, rinsed off with his hosepipe....

I borrowed some grit from the box at the end of the road and made sure the paths and road next to me wasn't iced over after the cleaning. Also spread some on the corner of the road too because I'm a good samaritan.

Gave mine a good wash today too, wanted to get all the salt n crap from under the arches. It's in the garage now, all clean until tomorrow anyway.

I washed mine before doing a 100 mile drive to pick up the grand parents for christmas, within half a mile the car looked like it did before.

Pretty pointless in this weather unless the roads have dried out.
