The internet has power

We could collectively write a novel with (potentially) millions of authors. Everyone interested signs up, authors are picked alphabetically, each person writes one sentence that must follow on from the previous sentence in some logical/plausible/reasonable way.

But will it be Shakespeare, or does that only work if we all use typewriters?

This has already been done with music, Shadow Huntaz' album springs to mind...

Considering how Wikipedia is used so heavily for information, maybe we could migrate something in our everyday lives to the internet.

There are already some online learning programmes.

TV is making an incomplete half arsed move over, but there's no intention of it leaving our teles.

Not sure of any better ideas, it's kinda late.

OK Doc, give me your diiagnosis and don't hold back.

You have face-AIDS. Probably originating from where you were dropped on your head several times throughout your adult life. I'm not quite sure why you were climbing into so many people's arms in the first place, but it's likely to be related to your mongorrhea.

Unfortunately, there's no known cure and as it's a relatively new and therefore 'scary' ailment, it justifies mob-mentality and social ostracisation.

Into the volcano with you. We need rain for a plentiful harvest!

It would have to be typewriters and monkeys. That doesn't mean that a novel written by the internet couldn't be great, but it would be pornographic.

It might be possible but look how well any thread on here turns out when it is of a similar ilk, if you're lucky then you'll get to three pages before it's completely spammed to death. It'll also feature strong mentions about decimation of baked shortcrust goods, nuking from orbit and fail - hence not a book that I'd ever want to read.

i think the effectiveness of this campaign came about due to 2 main things. Hate for Cowell + lack of effort needed to stop him.

Could possibly organise a similar sort of thing about main political issues. Would be easy enough to include a link to send a template email msg to your MP expressing objection and wanting action on said topic. If 100,0000 ppl did that over one topic then this is a way the public can be more directly involved in politics?

And thats only the start.
