Can I sell Leopard?

I read the username and the thread title and knew exactly what this would entail :(

You can sell the disk but beware it's a grey machine disk.. specific to your model. The buyer would have to have the same model machine as you, which would make selling a nightmare.

Also, should you want to restore the system for sale you'd have to reacquire the OS via a retail disk so you'd lose the free iLife apps.

Congratulations on wasting money.

Why so ? I'm running Windows 7 on a Mac, I bought the Mac with discount for it's build quality and its looks alone, having gone through 2 other laptops in as many years.

I see the MacBook Pro just like I see any other laptop. A piece of Hardware and this is was my favourite in terms of asthetics and durability.

I wanted to like the MacOS but being brought up on Windows I found it difficult. I'm quite happy to keep the OS on disc, just wanted to know where I stood legally.

Thanks. I am with you I do like the MacBook Pro for it design and build quality.

I was planning to buy one next year.

Did you have any problems loaded just windows 7; did it find all the drivers OK?

I'm very happy with the MBP in every way, iyou should buy one, you won't regret it. I was looking into buying the more expensive Adamo but the build quality was a let down.

With regards to installing Windows, no problems at all, you get all the drivers on disc so everything works as it should I.e keyboard back light, isight etc.

Thanks

Which model size do you have?

How do you find the battery life, do you see up to 7 hours use.

I own the base 13.3 model.

The battery is great, I manage around 4 hours on Win7 and 5 on Snow Leopard. While this is the best battery I've ever come across I don't think the 7 hours Apple claim to be realistic.
